We spoke with our colleague Joost de Maat about Growth. Joost is an Advanced Network Consultant. He has been working at YaWorks since February 2020. In a short time, he managed to grow significantly.
"The great thing about YaWorks? That people are empowered. If you have intrinsic motivation, almost anything is possible. Right from my first assignment, I got the technical challenge I was looking for. After that, I got a position in the account team for an international client. Within a transformation program, I rolled out networks for eighty offices in 32 countries based on a self-developed standard.
I'm proud that I had a major part in that. YaWorks often sees it in you before you see it yourself, and they continue to challenge me to grow further. I've now completed a Leadership Training and a Trusted Advisor program. I immediately apply these new competencies in practice in my current role as Solution Architect. This time with a client that also operates on a global level. In this way, I contribute to the client's direction and work on YaWorks' vision and strategy that continues to challenge me towards my next growth step."
